Greetings and Merry Meet!

My name is Toad. I know, I'm a frog. But that is not my fault. My first memories were mostly concerned with catching flies and trying to not be eaten by anything bigger than me.

Then one day it happened. I was just getting ready to snap up one of the juiciest looking butterflies I had ever seen and - ZAP!!! Suddenly my brain was filled with all these complex higher thought patterns. I still don't know how it happened but I guarantee it was scarier than that owl that hung out in my part of the woods!

I was lucky. Not long after that I found myself hanging around this human's cottage near the edge of the woods when she caught me and took me inside. It is a good thing all this new buzzing in my head also included being able to talk. I told her what had happened so she let me stay and I've been learning more every day. She told me she was looking for a 'familiar' anyway. Now that I've learned how to be a wizard, I am happy to hang around with Sarah and do what I can to help out.

She wants me to share my stories about all the things I've done since I've been 'thinking' so I have begun writing down some of my adventures. I really hope you enjoy them.
