As part of their job duties, emergency room nurses engage in educational activities to promote the nursing profession and keep them up to date on today's advanced diagnostics, technologies, medical equipment and safety techniques.

To come up with solution regarding this problem, it is important to define emergency room violence and differentiate it from other forms of violence. These violent acts came from feelings of frustrations, vulnerability and lack of control over health emergencies.
